Portugal. The Man were in a van accident as they travel in support of their forthcoming album, The Satanic Satanist due out July 21, 2009. The band documented the event via Twitter, noting:

Got hit by a truck and the axles got ripped of the van. Guy was on his cell and not looking. Good work. Just waiting for police to show up so I can figure out what we can do showwise. Only 10 miles away. Anyone have a truck or two in chapel ...
