Iggy Pop has posted the new single from his forthcoming solo album. The record is titled Préliminaires and is due out May 18, 2009. The album is inspired by the novel, La Possibilité d'une île and is inspired by jazz, particularly New Orleans style jazz.



The song in question features a trumpet, trombone and clarinet and Pop compares it to New
Orleans-era, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton-types of Jazz.
