The People Must Have Something Good To Read On A Sunday

Anti-Flag has finished their major label experiment and has returned to the indie world by
signing to SideOneDummy. The band will release The People or the Gun on the label on June 9th.
Rancid has
titled their new full length Let The Dominoes Fall. The record, their first since 2003, will arrive on June 2nd. The band further detailed the
track listing this week as well.
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong discussed their ambitions for their new record
21st Century Breakdown. The band also discussed the
musical based on American Idiot that's currently in the works.
Boston Hardcore act,
Death Before Dishonor has
re-signed to Bridge Nine Records and is working on completing their next full length.
Jimmy Eat World have plans to digitally release a
live album recorded at the Tempe, Arizona date of the recent Clarity Tour.
While plenty of bands have upcoming releases, the
Aquabats are
struggling with their future. Having been released from Nitro Records the band mused that "its time we all roll up our sleeves and decide to either pack it up and call it quits, OR by some miracle of hard work and perseverance ...we ... persevere!"
The
Bouncing Souls recently had a little bit of tour trouble, having come up against
an erupting volcano the form of Mount Redoubt.
Greg Graffin of
Bad Religion was interviewed on his upcoming mainstream book that discusses
religion and naturalism.
Blink-182's Travis Barker is working with
rapper Busta Rhymes on a song for the upcoming Transformers film.
Tom Gabel of
Against Me! had a revealing
interview with Chris Hannah of
Propagandhi.
The
Beastie Boys streamed their upcoming remaster of
Check Your Head this week.
