While the online release of In Rainbows was a media sensation, another album with Radiohead lineage will cause much less of a stir when it arrives in stores just before Christmas.
Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood provided the musical score for director Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming flick, There Will Be Blood, and the soundtrack will be released on Dec. 18 via Nonesuch.
Album tracks "Henry Plainview" and "Proven Lands" are excerpts from Greenwood's BBC-commissioned "Popcorn Superhet Receiver" orchestral piece.
There Will Be Blood will open in select theatres on Dec. 26 and will receive a wider release shortly thereafter.
Here are the tracks on There Will Be Blood:
* "Open Spaces"
* "Future Markets"
* "Prospectors Arrive"
* "Eat Him By His Own Light"
* "Henry Plainview"
* "There Will Be Blood"
* "Oil"
* "Proven Lands"
* "HW/Hope Of New Fields"
* "Smear"
