As you may recall, Wu-Tang Clan recently sold their one-of-a-kind copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin via an Auction to Martin Shkreli, the fellow that raised the price of a drug used to treat toxoplasmosis, from $13.50 to $750 per pill.

Likely bringing an end to this story, in an e-mail to Bloomberg Businessweek, Wu-Tang's RZA stated “We decided to give a significant portion of the proceeds to charity.” Though, he did not give specifics of exactly how much would be donated. With the $2 million sale confirmed, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin holds the title for most expensive sale of a record ever, with The Beatles
White Album
in second place at $790,000.
