Punknews is pleased to debut the video of "Christmas Weather" by the Student Teachers. The Student Teachers were a punk/new wave band in New York City in the late '70s that had tracks produced by Jimmy Destri of Blondie. The track is off Invitation To… The Student Teachers… which is the first ever re-release of out-of-print singles from the band and it's out on Nacional Records.





Meanwhile, the video features that classic late '70s New York City punk sound in which the harder stuff crosses over into the frenetic energy of New Wave. Tight, poppy riffs abound. The video itself features some vintage shots from CBGB and can been seen after the jump.
