This is John G and I'm excited to start this wonderful week with all you brilliant readers. You guys are great! We got some new reviews for you as a reward:

First, staff reviewer Greg Simpson gives the new Dum Dum Girls record Too True a spin:

Getting to the songs contained on Too True, "Rimbaud Eyes" is an instant favorite. It's proof of Dee Dee's recently-quoted inspiration of legendary poets and legendary poetic-minded musicians like Patti Smith, who also is a name-dropper of Arthur Rimbaud.

Second, reader facetofacereunion08 went and saw Nofx, Brendan Kelly, and The Implants, live in Chicago and he dug it:

Finally after a 30 minute set break, NOFX took the stage. This was my 5th time seeing them, and quite possibly the best. They were tight, energetic, and fun. I know there are NOFX haters out there, but they are super fun live.

Lastly, reader Skankaholic (which I hope means that he is addicted to a type of dance) really liked the new org-core friendly record Blow Me by the Moms:

Blow Me is a four-song digital EP released on Paper + Plastick, serving as a prequel for their upcoming full-length that was a pleasant surprise on a day at the office that left me begging for a beer by lunchtime. And after a few listens, I wanted a few. But in the best way possible. Like, gang vocals and beers and big choruses. Get it?
