Wooo!!!! Friday!!!! Man, I was up all night, lying awake because I was so excited to post today's reviews! Wooo!!!! Then, I'm seeing Against Me! this Saturday and I'm going to the record store this afternoon. Then, next week, I'm seeing Bomb the Music Industry! and maybe Integrity! YES!!!!! Here are some new reviews to get you pumped for this weekend. PUMPED! BABY! PUMPED!!!

First, O.G. reviews editor Brian Schultz appears like a Dracula and drops some knowledge about San Angelus's Soon We'll All Be Ghosts on y'all- THIS MAN KNOWS HOW IT'S DONE:

Soon We'll All Be Ghosts is definitely of the late '90s "hardcore dudes playing rock" thing, and often well-done at that. Think bands like Handsome and Hum, playing that sort of riffy, kinda heavy rock with really tasteful, slight stylistic detours (crunchier guitars and more aggression on "Enslin"; a slight, humming space rock vibe on the fantastic, modest chorus for "Splitting Differences"; the squall and distortion-licked "Without You... (I Am Everything You Said I'd Never Be)"; a big thump for closer "Waiting for Accidents to Happen" that shows off their alumni's past and present).

Then, that rising star of the comments section, Nedsammy, tells us all about The Love Triangle's Clever Clever :

The band's sound harks back to groups that mixed pop melody with the basics of punk before pop-punk, as we now know it, was distinguished from the rest of the rest of the genre. The Ramones are of course a touching point (although given this type of music that's kind of inevitable) but much moreso the Buzzcocks. Rather, like that group, they take quick-paced tunes with catchy melodies and a cheeky sense of humour, and add a post-punk inflection into both the music, and the level of angst.
