Hello everyone and welcome to Navel Gazing: your look back in the week in Punknews. I'm Brittany Strummer and I'll be your guide through some of the juiciest, most popular and otherwise noteworthy stories from the last seven days. Remember, every Punknews story is built from tips from our wonderful, good-looking readers, so get to submitting. Here's what got the strange, slow and old community talking this week:

The Bronx's drummer, Jorma Vik, called out Black Veil Brides for using "fake amps" at this year's Warped Tour.
In other Warped news, a rule was pushed through by the travelling festival that performing acts are prohibited from using terms such as "mosh pit" or "wall of death". This rule left a bad taste is some performers mouths but Warped organizer, Kevin Lyman, defended and explained the decision.
After 13 and a half years together, drummer Michael McDermott left The Bouncing Souls to "pursue other musical interests".
Against Me! finished tracking their highly anticipated new album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues.

AFI signed to Republic Records for the release of their forthcoming album.
Touche Amore announced the details for their new release.
Tim Timebomb and Friends released a cover of a Bad Religion song as part of their ongoing song-a-day series.
