The Kooks played an intimate gig tonight (September 5).
The band played at the 200 capacity Buffalo Bar in London.
Singer Luke Pritchard told the crowd : "Usually competition winners are all bullshit but you guys are cool" in reference to the fact the concert was taking place as part of XFM's 10th Birthday.
Before they played 'Matchbox' he told the crowd: "How you all doing the last time we played here it was a while ago. We could play a Van Morrison song or an old one."
The band played a number of new songs to the enthusiastic crowd. Pritchard introduced 'I Want You' by saying: ""Let's all chill out a bit we've got some new songs for you."
