Albert Hammond, Jr. is gearing up to record his second album, news that further confirms The Strokes indefinite hiatus.
The Strokes guitarist-turned-solo-star has scheduled five weeks at Electric Lady studios in New York to record the follow-up to 'Yours To Keep'. Hammond has previewed several new tracks at recent live shows including 'In My Room' and an as-yet untitled track.
In a message posted on Myspace, Hammond promised that some of the recording will be filmed and shown on www.myspace.com/alberthammondjr
As previously reported here, Hammond played one of his first shows ever at last year's CMJ in New York and has played no less than 128 since.
