Coheed And Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez reveals they've recruited Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins to play drums on their new album, following the departure of Josh Eppard in November 2006.
The band is recording the 'No World For Tomorrow' with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters) at The Path studios, Hollywood.
"Taylor's actually brought a tremendous amount to the band," says Sanchez. "He's an interesting drummer in the fact that he's a songwriter, so when he's playing the drums he's not thinking of it as 'Oh, I'm a drummer, how flashy can I be?', he's really 'What is going to add to this song and make it the strongest it can possibly be?' So it's definitely a new take on that part of the band and I think it really works well."
'No World For Tomorrow' will be released in the autumn.
