Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and The Nightwatchman has announced a new digital EP to be released May 17th with a physical release in July. The EP precedes his next full length, World Wide Rebel Songs which is due out late summer. The EP consists of pro-union songs with three originals and the "radical" original version of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" included. All profits from the EP will benefit The America Votes Labor Unity Fund.

The organization "supports the unified efforts of a
broad coalition of national labor organizations to defend workers and
their unions against state legislation, ballot measures and executive
orders that will undermine or destroy their rights. The America Votes
Labor Unity Fund accepts donations from labor organizations and
individuals who donate on their own behalf."
