Tom Petty is finishing up his new solo album, "Highway Companion," to be released in June. Quote Petty:
"I'm reaching there to try and find a theme. It's just a really nice collection of songs. I think it does have an underlying theme of time and what it does to you."

Petty and the Heartbreakers will be touring a lot this year. Many of the shows will be with Pearl Jam, and they're also planning to do some shows w/ John Mayer and the Strokes.
