New York Dolls have reunited with legendary record producer Todd Rundgren to work on their next full length. Rundgren will produce
the Dolls' new album at his studio on the island of Kauai. Production
is scheduled to start in January 2009.

Todd produced the band's eponymous full length debut, New York Dolls, released in 1973. The lineup for the Dolls will include founding member, David Johansen (vocals) and Sylvain Sylvain (guitar,
vocals). Original bassist Arthur Kane passed away in July of 2004 and was the subject of a independent documentary, New York Doll.
