The reunited Public Image Limited will be touring North America this spring, with the first date being the band's previously announced appearance at this year's edition of Coachella. The band will play shows on both American coasts, a few in the midwest and two gigs in Canada.

John Lydon formed Public Image Limited in 1978 following the implosion of the Sex Pistols. The original line up included one-time The Clash guitarist Keith Levene, bassist Jah Wobble and drummer Jim Walker. The group ran with various lineups and guest stars through 1993, in that run releasing eight full-lengths. They first reunited late last year for a run of shows in the UK.
