Jemina Pearl, former vocalist of the often controversial Be Your Own Pet, appeared on video blog Dirty Laundry last week. In her interview she takes a break from her tour with the Black Lips to speak about "getting into fights, her old band and hanging with Thurston Moore." Pearl's solo album Break It Up was released on October 6th of last year via Ecstatic Peace. It features guest appearances by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, Iggy Pop, and TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek.
