Less Than Jake's JR has confirmed on his blog that
New Haven, Connecticut's Spring Heeled Jack USA has plans to reunite for a show or two after nearly eight years of inaction. The band featured future members of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Pilfers and other notable acts of the late 90s third wave ska movement. This year the group will also be reissuing their long out of print albums Static World View and Songs From Suburbia on vinyl via Asbestos Records.





Spring Heeled Jack called it quits in 2000. They were last together for a reunion show in 2002 to raise money for a scholarship fund in the name of their late drummer Dave Karcich.
