Jay-Z may have just turned 40, but the indomitable rapper's reign is far from over. Hov recently scored his first #1 record with "Empire State of Mind," and now with his latest video, "Young Forever," the Brooklyn rapper is asserting his claim that the best is yet to come.

In the clip — which popped up online Tuesday (December 22) — images of the the Roc Nation boss are juxtaposed with scenes of children, who playfully partake in youthful activities while Jay-Z performs onstage. There are shots of kids playing basketball, frolicking in a cornfield and breakdancing, and all the while Hov stays cool as he dutifully raps to a roaring crowd. The visuals were helmed by Anthony Mandler, who directed Jay-Z's "Run This Town" earlier this year and also worked on videos for Rihanna ("Russian Roulette"), T.I. ("Live Your Life").

However, the video is set to air overseas only, according to a rep for Atlantic Records, the record company distributing the rapper's Blueprint 3 album. The Swizz Beatz-assisted "On to the Next One" will be Jay-Z's next video in the States, and that clip is tentatively scheduled to premiere next month.

The past 12 months have been a testament to Jay-Z's staying power as he enters the next decade still holding the attention of fans that first began following him over 10 years ago. The rapper was named the Hottest MC in the Game by MTV News' Hip-Hop Brain Trust and recently was named MTV News' #2 Man of the Year. And he notched his 11th #1 album, the most of any solo performer as he bypassed even the legendary Elvis Presley. (Also toss in a couple notable interviews, among them Jay sitting on the sofa across from talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey.)

Mr Hudson, the Kanye West protégé featured on "Young Forever," told MTV News earlier this year he wanted to pinch himself after working with Jay-Z.

"I hope Jay ... Jay-Z still likes it," the singer said of their collaboration. "I call him Jay like I've met him more than twice, but we flipped [Bob Dylan's] 'Forever Young.' ... But to be on a Jay-Z album and a Kanye West album in six months ... I'm pinching myself. To be honest, it just does not sink in."
