Kevin Devine is planning a new Christmas-themed single, with no less than nine different physical versions. They explained:

To celebrate Kevin Devine's forthcoming appearance on the annual BSM Christmas Tour - and, of course, the fast-approaching festive season - we're re-releasing 'Splitting Up Christmas', a song originally taken from Kevin's 2003 album, 'Make The Clocks Move'. The single will be available as a free MP3 download and [in] nine different CD versions. Each CD will be limited to just 25 copies, available for one night only and feature a different b-side, hand-numbered and signed by Kevin.

B-Sides will include covers of Concrete Blonde, Neil Young, Pedro The Lion, Neutral Milk Hotel, Elliott Smith and b-sides/rarities.
